Team Edukata has now organized two Facilitator workshops, one in Denmark and one in Finland. All in all, the concept seems to work and is useful to the participants.
We at Team Edukata have been hard at work. We don’t want to be the only people that can organize Edukata design sessions at schools. So we’re creating a way for anyone to become a certified Edukata facilitator.
“I would never have thought that my classmates were so creative.” The Spanish school of SEK Atlántico has been an active participant in the iTEC project, piloting Learning Activities designed using the Edukata method. They’ve seen the effects of giving their teachers new ideas in a constructive and supportive manner, as Learning Activities.
This week’s Eminent conference brought together most European ministries of education, ICT suppliers, academics, teachers and teacher trainers. The change management process developed in the iTEC project (which includes Edukata) was showcased in the conference, and sparked both interest and collaboration possibilities.
Our poster is a bit to the side, but already after 15 minutes I’ve had many good conversations with people from as far as Israel.
This high level conference in Brussels on the 10th and 11th of October brings together European educational decision makers, service provides, and also… Edukata.
After three years of design work in the iTEC project, we are proud to publish Edukata, a teacher’s guide to designing innovative learning activities. Edukata was first released to iTEC project partners on the iTEC Aalto website.
